Detailed record-keeping is essential in implant dentistry. With more than 250 dental implant companies producing implant components, it is difficult to accurately ascertain each system. Misidentification of an implant system may lead to clinical mishaps and delays. Offering patients quick response (QR)–coded implant identification wallet cards (Fig. 1) is a straightforward, inexpensive, and universal solution to this problem.
